Best slot machines at mountaineer casino

We appreciate the kind words regarding the hotel and the restaurant. but the one thing that may make me think twice about returning is the change in the slot payouts and how tight they've become. There are many non smoking casinos for folks to go to if they don't like smoke. The improvements in the decor is lovely, and I really don't think the smoke is as bad as some people say. I have always loved the Mountaineer, been a loyal customer for may years, and travel from Northeast Ohio usually once a month, except for the last six months due to health related circumstances. I'm sure the tightening of the slots is an effort to try and recoup lost funds, but it will only result in loyal customers going elsewhere. I recently read their quarterly financial statement to shareholders and noted the continued loss in revenue, which is probably a result of neighboring states opening casinos of their own. They are really, really tight! I played for quite a while, and rarely hit anything! All around me people kept losing and losing, no matter what! The atmosphere has certainly changed too, not many 'happy customers', just degenerate gamblers looking very desperate.

I have not been here for around 6 months, and although I was very satisfied with my room accomondations and the food service (did not go to buffet, just don't like buffets), I have to say I was really surprized at the difference in the slots. Recently went to Mountaineer this past March for a three day trip.
